The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

We’ve all been there before. It always sounds great in the beginning and then LITERALLY overnight (and a few martinis later) your entire relationship changes. Whoopsie! At the end of the day you know this is a bad decision, you know he’s wrong for you and you both know that a relationship is not going to blossom from your late night rendezvous. However, it’s hella fun and well, why not!? Well, here are 5 reasons WHY NOT…

1. Your Jealousy Is Kicking In.

“Who was that girl you were talking to? Why did that chick comment all over your IG pics?” Whoa, let’s pump the breaks girlfriend. You two are only FRIENDS remember? If you’re asking these types of questions then… don’t. It’s as simple as that. Your situation doesn’t call for interrogation or jealousy. Make sure you know the rules before you play the game.

2. You Want Different Things

One of you wants to take it to the next level and the other is completely content with the way things are. Shocking. If this is the case, then this is your queue to walk away. Trust me, its only going to get more complicated and more uncomfortable. You’ll thank me later.

3. Your Friendship Has Faded

Before you started playing hanky panky, everything was chill, but now not so much. You no longer call each other to “catch up” or meet for after work drinks. Things have changed. Why? You don’t want him getting the wrong idea. But wait, isn’t that the point of this whole thing, to have both perks? If you’re no longer enjoying your time together above the sheets, then it’s to speak up, before any more damage is done.

4. You Only Hook Up On His Terms

It takes two to tango ladies. So if you’re the one who’s playing “follow the leader” then you need to revaluate your situation. There is no reason why he should be the only one calling the shots. After all isn’t the purpose of “friends with benefits”..to benefit? Waiting around for him to call doesn’t sound like much of a benefit to me.

5) You’re Fighting All The Time

Ahh! Here it comes, the calm before the storm. If you’ve started bickering over things like couples would, maybe you need a breather. The purpose of being “friends with benefits” is to avoid everything and anything that resembles responsibility and stress. If you can’t keep it casual, you gotta keep it movin.
